Psychiatric Evaluations

Dr. Vee provides detailed psychiatric assessments to establish an accurate diagnosis and guide evidence-based treatment planning. Each evaluation includes a thorough review of symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, and contributing psychosocial factors.

With a thoughtful and personalized approach, Dr. Vee takes time to understand your experiences, health background, and goals. Drawing on dual training in family and psychiatric practice, she considers physical, mental, and lifestyle factors to create personalized recommendations—whether through therapy, medication, or collaborative care.

Medication Management

Dr. Vee provides thoughtful and evidence-based medication management to support your mental health with safety and clarity. When appropriate, she prescribes and monitors psychiatric medications through ongoing follow-up and open communication, ensuring you feel guided and supported throughout treatment.

Centered on collaboration and informed choice, Dr. Vee explains each option clearly and tailors treatment to your unique needs. Drawing on dual training in family and psychiatric practice, she considers the full picture of your physical and mental health to promote lasting well-being.

Psychotherapy

Dr. Vee offers personalized psychotherapy grounded in evidence-based approaches to help you build insight, resilience, and emotional balance. Sessions provide a compassionate space to explore challenges, identify patterns, and develop meaningful strategies for growth and well-being.

With training in both family and psychiatric practice, Dr. Vee tailors therapy to your goals, incorporating techniques that address the connection between mind, body, and daily life for sustainable progress and healing. Together, you’ll work toward lasting growth, resilience, and meaningful change.

Forms Completion

Dr. Vee completes mental health documentation for FMLA, medical leave, and jury duty excusals when clinically indicated and consistent with applicable laws and regulations.

Form completion is based on a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, clinical judgment, and a documented diagnosis; it cannot be guaranteed and may require follow-up visits to ensure accuracy and medical necessity.

Documentation focuses on your mental health symptoms, functional limitations, and treatment needs; decisions about leave, accommodations, or jury service are ultimately made by employers or the court.

Future Services

Total Health FNP currently focuses on psychiatric and mental health care. As a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner in Family and Psychiatric Mental Health, Dr. Vee may expand to limited family and urgent care services in the future for issues such as colds, sinus infections, UTIs, STIs, short-term refills, and other non-emergency concerns when you cannot get in with your regular provider.

These visits will be offered as cash-pay services only and will be available to patients in states where Dr. Vee holds an active family practice license (currently DC, MD, and NY).
